Giclee Prints Available

The term “giclee print” indicates an elevated level of print technology that provides better color accuracy than more common color ink printers. The prints are typically created using 8-12 color ink-jet printers. One advantage to this is the quality and durability of the production. The other is that the artist can print the picture in many different sizes from the original digital file. I print with Archival Ink, using an Epson 3800 9 color ink jet printer and high quality acid free Fine Art Paper. Each image can be printed in any desired size.

Artist Statement

In 1965, I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in biology. For the next five years, I worked as a volunteer in Laos as a home economist, information coordinator, and wife in remote villages. In 1973, I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Cornell and began my teaching career at Ithaca High School.

Cornell has been an important landmark, both for education and for recreation. It is a beautiful campus and has extensive gorges and gardens. Some of the buildings date back to 1865, when Ezra helped to establish the university.

I have included montages of several Cornell buildings or sculptures along with flowering trees or plants that are found in their nearby environment. Some of the images in this gallery were manipulated in Photoshop, using transparency adjustments. The images include Andrew Dickson White House, Bailey Hall, Baker Lab, Day Hall, Goldwin Smith Hall, Sage Hall, Sage Chapel, Herbert Johnson Art Museum, Fall Creek Gorge, and the Plantations.

If there is a building you’d like to see and have manipulated, please contact me.
